A few months ago, we were asked to bring our best wedding decor ideas to design the show table at the Tablescapes Event Rentals showroom in Chicago. Basically, Tablescapes asked us to come in and play around with all of their beautiful rentals to show off some wedding decor ideas. Yes, please! We grabbed a couple of our favorite vendor friends and went to work!
You guys. We hate to brag, but every once in awhile one of us does something so incredible and so cool that we just can’t help it. And our fearless leader, Elizabeth, has gone and done just that. Get ready for the coolest Logan Square apartment you’ll ever see!
If you can’t tell, we really love a good camp wedding. From Camp Indie Wed to weddings at Camp Wandawega (Deanna + Paul’s, Elena + Ken’s, Rachel + Mike’s and Lindsey + Bobby’s to name just a few…), we just love anything that has to do with camping. So, when Laura’s little one turned one, she just couldn’t resist inviting guests to join them at Camp Henry!
So you got engaged over the holidays and have no idea how to begin planning? Today, we’re turning the reigns over to our amazing intern Tara to help you get started. Tara worked with us this fall and saw everything from intimate backyard weddings to six-course extravaganzas. She learned a thing or two about weddings and she has some wedding planning advice for the newly engaged:
Usually, we don’t do a lot of wedding shows, but this winter we styled it up at several. You would think after last year’s Camp Indie Wed, we’d hang up our hats for a bit, but no. This year, we hit Indie Wed, Dose Trousseau, and helped launch the first Beverly Wedding Expo. At all three, we channeled our inner grandmother goddess to put together some wedding inspiration with just the right level of “eclectic” and “granny” combined. (If you didn’t know, we’re kind of known for this vibe.)
