Vintage camp vibes for a wedding planned? There just isn’t anything better than a good ol’ Camp Wandawega wedding! We’re so lucky that we get to go to camp pretty much every summer and despite some serious rain, Deanna + Paul’s wedding did not disappoint.

Deanna + Paul planned an amazing weekend for their family and friends ax-throwing, canoeing, sitting by the campfire and enjoying the great outdoors. The day started out blazing hot and then turned to torrential rain. As a destination wedding planner, especially when we’re in the Midwest, we never really know how a couple is going to react if things don’t quite go as planned with the weather. If we didn’t love them enough already (we did!) they were seriously the least ruffled human beings on Earth. We brought out drinks and appetizers to their guests as we waited the rain out and when it was juuuuuust sprinkling, we busted out and got them MARRIED! It was truly one of the best moments seeing Deanna + Paul be so kind to each other and just want to do what would make the other person happy, they really just wanted to marry each other!
