Get ready for one of the sweetest weddings of 2014! Erin + Kevin’s were married at Kitchen Chicago and the party was nothing short of amazing, full of an insane amount of DIY details, tons of delicious food, and plenty of loving sentiments and tears of joy.
Last fall, we spent a lot of time at Lacuna Artist Lofts coordinating not one, but two, amazing weddings! Laura + Antonio put their own unique spin on the eclectic space with dramatic draping, lighted cocktail tables and, of course, amazing food (after all, Laura’s family owns a restaurant and Antonio is a chef, so a good spread was key!)
Tanya + Sarah got married at the Wyndham Grand Chicago Riverfront and it was spectacular. These two were so funny and fun to be around, there were a few times I had to remind myself I was at work!
Candice and Bill were married in June 2014 at Hotel Monaco. The funniest thing happened at our final walk through, Bill looks at me and says: “I just have one more question: what happened when the hatch to the roof got thrown off of the apartment?” I had NO IDEA what he was talking about. It turns out that he was my landlord at my first apartment in Chicago and my jerk roommates broke a piece off of the roof (and then threw it off?!) He said I handled it well, and it’s a good reminder that this big city is really kind of small. And also that someday you might be planning your landlords wedding so you shouldn’t throw pieces of an apartment that doesn’t technically belong to you off your three-flat. He let us coordinate anyway and Laura killed it!

Michelle and Todd were married at The Rookery in August 2013. As you can plainly tell from this photo, they had a terrible time. Ha! So much fun and lightheartness with these two made for just a lovely day for everyone. Aislinn, girl wonder and coordinator extraordinaire got Michelle and Todd down the aisle and to the party with ease.
