Michelle and Todd were married at The Rookery in August 2013. As you can plainly tell from this photo, they had a terrible time. Ha! So much fun and lightheartness with these two made for just a lovely day for everyone. Aislinn, girl wonder and coordinator extraordinaire got Michelle and Todd down the aisle and to the party with ease. After getting all dolled up the bridal party stormed the streets of downtown Chicago so Anna Guziak could capture these amazing shots. I love Michelle’s veil and A Stem Above did an awesome job with their flowers.
“In 1871, the Great Fire ravaged Chicago. While devastating, it launched a building boom that pushed architectural experimentation and advancement that put Chicago at the forefront of progress. The Rookery was one of the resulting masterpieces of commercial architecture.” This building is stunning to say the least.
Shades of purple, adorned the room after the flip and I had the great pleasure of styling out their awesome candy bar. I appreciate when couples just want “the good candy” even if it doesn’t fit in with their color scheme: Swedish Fish, Rolos, and Sour Patch Kids, yes please! Aislinn was the perfect match for Michelle + Todd’s glamorous and sophisticated day!
