We have been waiting so long to post this one! We had so much fun helping Colleen + Mark plan one stunner of a wedding at Harold Washington Library Center last summer. Colleen + Mark called us a few months before their wedding because they had a venue but needed help bringing their vision to life. So, we hopped on board to help plan all of the rest!
When we work with our clients, one of the best things we offer (in our humble opinion) is unlimited availability for questions from start to finish. But, sometimes, our clients book us late in the planning process and it’s too late for us to give them all of the advice we can. So, here’s a list of our top tips. Basically, this is the best advice we have (until you book us and then there’s a lot more where these came from!)
If you want to get us really excited about coordinating your wedding, tell us you have a taco bar, video games and custom pinatas at a cool new venue and we’re all like, “sign us up!” Steph + David’s November wedding at Trigger Chicago had all of the above and then some.
We thought we’d seen it all before we met Alli + Matt. But when these two lovebirds told us what they had planned for their big day at Prairie Production, we knew we hadn’t. Not even close. Dinosaurs? Check! Pizza? Check! Gorgeous Star Wars themed cake? Check, check! This is one truly unique wedding that you won’t want to miss.
We know a thing or two about a Thalia Hall wedding since it’s one of our all-time favorite venues. But man…Mary + Sean’s wedding at Thalia Hall this fall took it to a whole new level. There’s no doubt – these guys know how to throw a party!
