Those of you who’ve worked with us over the past few years probably met our sweet, hardworking assistant (or intern!) named Journey. Well, we loved Journey so much that after she interned with us in 2016, we couldn’t let her go. So, she’s been assisting on weddings since, got a TON of event planning experience on her own and now she’s a badass coordinator for Team AE. And trust us, she’s AMAZING. She really knows how to get it done (but always with a smile on her face!)
As trite as it sounds, there are few things as magical as a winter wedding and Cara + Tommy’s snowy wedding at the Bridgeport Art Center was truly perfection. With blankets of snow on the ground and light fluffy snow falling all night, Chicago really showed up and set a beautiful stage for the perfect night.
Meg + Nick’s fall wedding at the Montgomery Club and St. Clement Church was one we won’t soon forget! Meg + Nick are just about the nicest people you’ll ever meet and we had so much fun working with Meg and her mother to plan out all the little details. These guys know how to throw a party!
Steven + Jeremy’s Museum of Contemporary Art wedding was nothing short of amazing. They planned their wedding for the first weekend in November because it was their 22nd anniversary and they were ready to make things official. And make it official, they did!
