retro wedding at ovation + st. ignatius

Where do we start with this one?! Stephanie + Matt booked us more than a year before their wedding at Ovation so to say we were looking forward to their big day is a huge understatement. We had so much fun working with Stephanie and Matt leading up to the day that we knew there was no way our relationship with them would end after the wedding weekend.

Stephanie + Matt started the day getting ready with their crews before hopping on the school bus to head to their alma mater, St. Ignatius College Prep, for some of the cutest first look photos we’ve ever seen. Stephanie + Matt met in the very classroom where they did their first look. Could they be any cuter?!?

Ceremony time!

From there, Stephanie + Matt and their wedding party headed outside for some great shots before going next door to Holy Family Catholic Church for their ceremony. The whole day was perfection and the smiles on their faces say it all.

Retro details set… it’s time to party!

While they were saying “I do”, we were over at Ovation Chicago putting the final touches on all of the details for their reception. And the details were SOOOO good! We loved everything – the blue glass water goblets, the napkins with the perfect pop of color, the vintage record table numbers, and especially the cassette tape escort cards. Plus, the bright florals from Flowers for Dreams and the most perfect party favors just brought it all together. The stage was set for an absolutely wonderful evening and as you can tell, Stephanie + Matt and all of their guests had a blast!
