Just thinking about Brian + Ivan’s Chicago-themed wedding makes us smile. Brian + Ivan hired us two years ago, so to say we couldn’t wait is a major understatement. We absolutely adore these two and their sweet, emotional, jam-packed fun, dance party crazy wedding!

Chicago-themed wedding they’ll never forget

Brian is originally from Chicago and Ivan is from Brazil, but they currently reside in LA and have family and friends around the world. For their wedding, they wanted to show their guests everything Chicago has to offer. So, they started the day getting ready at the Sheraton Grand Chicago before heading over to River Roast for a riverside reception with plenty of Chicago soul. (And clearly had a blast taking some memorable photos with Ryan Moore Photography along the way!)

Sweet + emotional wedding perfection

Brian + Ivan work in the television industry, so, of course, their ceremony started with a video they created. Guests were captivated (not going to lie, we may have shed a couple of tears) by the video and sweet ceremony that followed. After waiting more than two years from the time they got engaged to finally say, “I do!” in front of all of their family and friends was a moment no one will ever forget.

Dance Party USA!

Following the ceremony, guests headed downstairs for a perfect evening along the river and a reception that took the term “dance party” to a whole new level. And we know no one will ever forget being greeted by a life-sized movie poster featuring the grooms (that was also on the custom flip flops made for each guest) and is by far one of our favorite details to date!
