Siobhan + Nate’s wedding at Ignite Glass Studios last summer was nothing less than magical, beautiful and most of all, happy. You would never guess it rained just minutes before the ceremony from looking at these bright, sunny faces!

James + Cyril said “oui!” at Thalia Hall in August. A lawyer and an architect, one from Chicago and one from France, these two have enough style in their pinky fingers to pull off the chicest wedding of the year. Thalia Hall was built in the 1800’s and was restored and reestablished in May of 2014 after having been vacant for 50 years. An architectural wonder in and of itself and coupled with James and Cyril being the very first wedding Thalia Hall hosted was just the kind of experience they were looking to wow their guests with.

Elizabeth stopped by Siobhan + Nate’s wedding for a behind the scenes look just as Laura finished putting the final touches on their papel picado banners and clusters of flowers in milk glass vases. Rain moved the ceremony indoors at the last minute, but the happy decorations kept things bright and cheerful!

Sarah + Jamie were married at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church and hosted their reception at Byron Colby Barn. It was the second wedding of the year and I had the pleasure of working with Brian Kinyon Photography. One of my favorite things Sarah, Jamie and Brian did together was take some bridal party photos at Pickwick Theatre, how great is that space? And their handmade barn wedding reception? Swoon!
