Those of you who’ve worked with us over the past few years probably met our sweet, hardworking assistant (or intern!) named Journey. Well, we loved Journey so much that after she interned with us in 2016, we couldn’t let her go. So, she’s been assisting on weddings since, got a TON of event planning experience on her own and now she’s a badass coordinator for Team AE. And trust us, she’s AMAZING. She really knows how to get it done (but always with a smile on her face!)

Our fearless chief wedding coordinator not only coordinates tons of AE weddings each year, but when she’s not running weddings, you can usually find her in her favorite coffee shop taking care of all of the administrative tasks she can handle. My three-year-old nephew and I wrote a song about doing chores in which we ask every member of the family what their favorite chore and least favorite chore is. It kept him singing and standing at the sink with me for at least an hour post-Christmas dinner while I crushed those dishes, so you know it’s a v. good song. I’m going to spare you my singing voice and instead tell you about MY FAVORITE ever chore. Setting the table. Because setting the table is LIFE!
