Go big or go home, right? Well, Liz + Mick definitely didn’t go home for their wedding last October. Hundreds of balloons, twenty-foot live trees and a bagpiper — and that was just the ceremony! Just wait till you see this one. It will blow your mind!
Liz + Mick started their day getting ready at home surrounded by family and friends. Photographer extraordinaire Andria Lindquist captured each moment beautifully and then took some amazing first look shots on the rooftop of the couple’s Lincoln Park apartment. We just love that they thought of every little detail down to personal notes and gifts to each other that we’re sure will be family heirlooms one day.
From there, Liz + Mick headed to Covenent Presbyterian Church in Bucktown for one of the most beautiful ceremonies we’ve seen in a long time. With 20-foot live trees lining the aisle and a bagpiper leading the couple out of the church, this ceremony was definitely one the guests will never forget.
From the church, the couple followed photographers (Andria Lindquist Photography) and videographers (Orange Wedding Films) for some more amazing shots on the lakefront before heading to Northerly Island for a bang-up reception. You would never know from these gorgeous shots that it was freezing with gale force winds outside. Inside the tent was draped in ivory, lush greens lined the tables and chandeliers sparkled while the couple and their friends danced the night away.
