a botanical-filled wedding at a new leaf

We just adored working on Steve + Amanda’s wedding at A New Leaf last summer. One sweet couple plus one of our favorite venues equaled one perfect wedding despite the rainy day outside.

Steve + Amanda started the day getting ready at Hotel Lincoln across the street and took their first look photos on the hotel’s beautiful rooftop overlooking Lincoln Park. Being the troopers that they are, then they headed out in the rain for some beautiful pictures in the park. They say rain on your wedding day is good luck. We think that’s because it creates some seriously gorgeous pictures!

While Steve + Amanda were off in the park, we were busy getting all of their little details in place and everything else ready for them at A New Leaf.

One of our favorites, Anita Vaughan, officiated the couple’s sweet, sentimental and perfectly personalized ceremony before everyone headed back downstairs for dinner, drinks and dancing.
