Lindsey + Jeff’s vintage Chicago wedding at Thalia Hall came together beautifully. It’s hard to believe they got married in January – in Chicago – when you look at their pictures. They look so relaxed and happy, you would think they were hanging out in a tropical paradise. But no, they braved the cold and had such a cool wedding at Thalia Hall, one of our all time fave venues!
When we met Ranna + Jerry, we knew this wedding wasn’t going to be boring. Ranna had a very clear vision and she was true to that it with every detail. She just knew she needed Team AE to help her tie it together seamlessly. From the perfectly selected flowers (with a touch of wildness to them) to the handpicked chargers (gold for the king tables and ivory for everyone else), we loved working with Ranna + Jerry to plan their perfect day.
Usually, January is a slow month for us, but man! It may have been cold in Chicago, but it was a hotbed of activity at Anticipation Events! We rounded out the month with Sarah + Elliott’s timeless, yet vintage wedding that we just couldn’t love any more.
We know, we know. Another gorgeous Thalia Hall wedding? It’s true! We were back at one of our favorite venues for Grace + Greg’s gorgeous winter wedding in January and it did not disappoint. Grace and Greg live in Boston and are both designers. When they hired us to do partial planning with them and included a deck of inspiration, we were immediately smitten! It truly came full circle when we saw Grace in that dress…
When we got the call to coordinate Emily + Brandon’s wedding at the Park Hyatt Chicago, we were ready and waiting! We’ve known Emily for years through her sister and brother-in-law, Katie + Ryan, and couldn’t wait to get our hands on another wedding with their amazing family and friends.
