From the minute we met Carrie + Bob we knew they were going to be a blast to work with, and their wedding in southwest Michigan would be spectacular. They did not disappoint! Carrie + Bob had a a perfect fall day for their celebration at one of the coolest new venues, Sundance Studios, in the quaint town of Millburg, Michigan. Can it get any better? We think not.
So fun to finally get to share all of the pictures from this styled shoot we did at Thalia Hall before it was renovated and open to the public! An amazing crew of vendors pitched in to create this bohemian wedding inspiration shoot and one of my very favorite shoots ever. The only wedding show we ever participate in rolled around last winter and we (per usual) stayed up all night putting the finishing touches on our booth. Indie Wed at the Ravenswood Event Center is one of our favorite times of the year because we get to see so many of our very favorite vendors in one place and get the chance to be creative with only the dimensions of our booth to confine us.
Laura saved the day when I was setting up and my giant, golden “P” popped. Let’s face it, “Let’s Arty” just doesn’t have the same ring as “Let’s Party!”

Katie + Ryan were married in March 2014 at St. John Ultimate Villas. They belong in a magazine, no? (Don’t worry I’m working on that.) Katie, Ryan and about 50 of their friends and families hopped a plane in the middle of the Polar Vortex and then caught the ferry to St. John. Twist my dang arm.

Britta + Ty were married in September 2013 at a private residence in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Some family friends live on a gorgeous piece of property that seems otherworldly, like you stepped into a magazine. With Britta’s great style (she owns Faithful Roots) a gorgeous setting and a wild and crazy bridal party, this was one of my most memorable weddings from 2013!
