This colorful springtime wedding at Schubas was full of personality and sentimental touches. Katrina and Brandon met at Schubas while Brandon’s band was playing. It’s been one of their favorite places to hangout ever since. We love when couples choose non-traditional and sentimental venues to celebrate their love.
Guests arrived and headed into Schubas for the moody ceremony onstage. This intimate setting is such a great way to kick off the evening. Cocktails and apps were enjoyed upstairs post-ceremony. The clouds parted right before guests were invited downstairs to enjoy dinner inside Tied House and on their fabulous patio. Dancing and revelry commenced in Schubas with a live band and photo booth along with late night pizza.
Katrina and Brandon have great style and left no detail untouched. They choose bright and colorful florals and their favorite records to use as their guest book. They created enamel pins of the Schubas building or each place settings. As a nod to Katrina’s heritage they had a kransekake. This is a traditional Norwegian confection, eaten on special occasions. We are forever obsessed with this colorful springtime wedding at Schubas.
