It’s been a few years since we’ve officially posted the wonderful team behind Anticipation Events, so we thought it was about time for a reintroduction.

Get to know the people behind Team AE - their event experience, favorite things, signature dance moves, and, of course, where they stand on the very important disco ball vs. confetti cannon debate.🪩🎉

✨ Meet Emma!

Emma is a Lead Coordinator for Team AE with 15 years of experience planning weddings, cultural events, and corporate celebrations.

She lives in Bucktown with her husband and daughter. When she’s not planning events, you’ll find her firmly planted on Team Disco Ball and refusing to look back.

A few fun facts: her favorite song to hear at a wedding is Let’s Go Crazy by Prince, her go-to sandwich is a PB&J, and her favorite animal is a raccoon.🦝

✨ Meet Heather!

Heather is a Lead Coordinator for Team AE with 20 years of event planning experience. Her career has taken her from art galleries and auction houses to Food52 and several not-for-profits before she turned her attention to weddings.

She lives in Lakeview with her husband, their two wild things (aka daughters), and two ancient - and very chubby - cats.

A few fun facts: she loves a good theme party and early 2000s hip hop, and her ideal bodega Italian sandwich must include shredded lettuce, vinegar, and something pickled. Her favorite animal is a red cardinal.🐦‍🔥

✨ Meet Esther!

Esther is a Lead Coordinator for team AE, with event experience spanning social events, staffing, and weddings.

When she’s not planning events, you’ll likely find her on the dance floor perfecting her signature move: the “bop and sway with a drink in one hand.”🍹

A few fun facts: her favorite sandwich is a turkey sub from an Italian deli - but the bread must be from D’Amato’s. And her favorite animal is a tiger… but, please, only from afar.

Edirin is an Assistant Coordinator on Team AE, bringing five years of experience in experiential event planning and corporate project management to the wedding world.

She lives in Humboldt Park with her husband and daughter, and when she’s not orchestrating details behind the scenes, you’ll
