Ready to see this maximalist glam inspired office? With Covid putting a screeching halt to wedding season, and everyone moving into a home office and doing s ton of nesting, we got to do some designing! Katie, owner of Encourage Coaching moved her office into a guest bedroom and was ready to creative a bold and engaging space to see clients over zoom, during lockdown and then host them in person once life got back to “normal.”
We designed around the super bold Milton & King wallpaper that Katie picked that brought tons of color and pattern to pull from. Since we used a dark color on the wall we pulled a lighter color curtain and couch. With the accent chair, we chose a small, houndstooth black and white pattern. When mixing patterns one of the main keys is to choose patterns that are very different sizes, so there is a really noticeable contrast.
