Becky + Mike’s fairytale wedding at Shedd Aquarium was an incredible way for their friends and family to celebrate their love, and experience one of Chicago’s most beloved cultural institutions. Alone Time Before The “I Do”
Before heading over to the ceremony, Becky and Mike took a moment to make the most of the Shedd Aquarium’s location right in the heart of Museum Campus, getting their photos taken by the water with the Chicago skyline hazy in the distance. With loose, organic florals and a veil to end all veils, these two radiated love.
A Beautiful, Intimate Ceremony
Becky and Mike exchanged vows under delicate white drapes, with natural light pouring in from every angle. The ceremony was intimate, with the couple surrounded by family and friends excited to see them on their special day. The lake, the city skyline, a moody haze in the air, there isn’t much more you can ask for from this city of ours.
An “Under the Sea” Reception
The fairytale wedding didn’t stop at the ceremony – the couple took a moment to soak in their surroundings at one of their favorite places in Chicago. From around the Carribean Reef to the dance floor, guests enjoyed dinner surrounded by ocean friends, even a caiman lizard friend! Then, Yazz Events kicked off the party, and everyone in the room kept the energy going until last call.
