Shine bright like Ruk + Matt! Last winter, when Ruk + Matt got married at Thalia Hall, it may have been dreary and cold in Chicago, but you wouldn’t know it by look at their bright and colorful wedding. With the most amazing vendor team and the coolest clients out there this January wedding was one hell of a way to kick off our 2016 wedding season.

Ruk + Matt’s wedding was the perfect combination of everything about them – traditional, colorful, vintage, hip, and one big ball of fun, starting with their mehndi ceremony at a friend’s house.

The next day was the big one. Ruk + Matt got ready and took their first look photos at Thalia Hall. On the most auspicious day, with a cake on every table, they flew in their favorite YouTube performer, donned their fancy clothes and partied all night long. Truly, this is a great example of the living the Anticipation Events brand.

Ceremonies on stage bring the best kind of drama. Nothing but gorgeousness with that flower canopy created by Fleur?! I mean, come on with your ridiculous beauty. Can we plan this wedding every weekend?

Following the ceremony, guests had cocktails on the balcony while we flipped the room for dinner and dancing. Ruk + Matt are one of the sweetest, kindest couples we have ever had the pleasure of working with, and everything about this wedding was so much YES.
