Tracy + Franklin’s wedding last November was nothing short of cinematic perfection at Lacuna Artists Lofts, proving love is actually all around.
I met Tracy more than a year before their wedding at Indie Wed and I was so pumped when she kept in touch and emailed me as soon as she and Franklin got engaged! Tracy + Franklin are anything but average, so their wedding was screaming with personality and COLOR. First, there’s that dress…
The paparazzi, AKA Jeremy Lawson Photography and Leap Weddings, captured every lovely moment of the day. From Eleven City Diner to the murals of Pilsen, they had their first look and then got some amazing photos and video before the party even started.
The bride and groom added tons of delightful personal details to their wedding ceremony and reception including sunflowers and the most amazing backdrop featuring minimalist posters for all of their favorite movies. We loved helping them style this space to bring their love of movies and color to life. With all of the blushes and whites and greens of the wedding world, it was a fun departure from the norm to style for these two: I really think we went overboard with color in all of the right amounts!
Their favorite movie candy, a southern, family-style feast, minimalist movie ticket place cards, video games and a slow-mo video booth plus a packed dance floor meant everyone was happy and the party raged on all night. Cheers to a life chock full of dancing, movies and color for these two!
