Take an industrial space that’s basically a blank canvas, throw in color, disco balls, and zero chill on the dance floor, and that’s Rachael + Sam’s wedding at Sarabande in a nutshell. 
Outdoor Portraits & Wedding Party Style
Before heading inside, the couple hit the streets for some portraits. Rachael wore a glossy, strapless ballgown while holding a bouquet loaded with pink, white, and coral peonies. Meanwhile, Sam kept it classic in a black tuxedo.
And the wedding party? All in. The groomsmen wore sleek, all-black tuxes, while the bridesmaids chose an earthy-toned palette – wearing mostly sage green and silver gowns.
Vows Under Hanging Greenery
Inside, the ceremony space had major warm-and-romantic energy – light wood paneling, simple black seating, and a giant hanging floral installation overhead (and can we talk about how cute the picture shown on the projector is?!)
Family and friends packed in, a cute flower girl got things started, the bride’s endless veil trailed the whole aisle, and just like that, Rachael and Sam walked back out married.
The Reception Went Full Industrial-Chic
Okay, the reception room is where things got fun. Long wooden family-style tables, green garlands running down the middle, candles everywhere. But the most fun feature of all? – the disco balls hanging on top of the dance floor, just catching light all night long.
The little details stole the show too – a photo table for loved ones who couldn’t be there, a vintage-style cake with all that classic lambeth piping, a cupcake tower, candy, and (probably the most Chicagoan addition of all) Garrett Popcorn for the guests.
Cake, Toasts, and a Dance Floor That Meant Business
After some speeches, the couple cut the cake at a high-top table, and after an emotional first dance, they kept it going on the dance floor. Disco balls spinning, guests going all night – this one had energy for days.
