"something blue" wedding at the arbory

This “something blue” wedding at The Arbory was the quintessential winter wedding and Emily + Justin poured their hearts into showing their guests their neighborhood and their love of Chicago. They bounced around Wicker Park and got some great shots with their crew at Reckless Records before heading to The Arbory for their ceremony.

We picked up blue details throughout the set-up along with cozy rugs to compliment the plants and string lights already at The Arbory. Emily looked ethereal in her dress and guests were all greeted when they came in from the cold with a hot toddy and tea bar. Cocktail napkins with their beloved pup Huey were the perfect “something blue” wedding detail. We mixed and matched some round tables with linens and wooden rectangular tables and the blue water glasses provided perfect contrast. Emily and Justin love Parks and Rec and Alliance Bakery nailed a replication of a sentimental scene from the show. This wedding was absolutely magic, and filled with details that could have only been for Emily and Justin’s wedding.
